I ran just before that same command but /Checkhealth and returned no errors. I've fixed a few times in the past by applying patches one at a time - which works for a while - but inevitably returns the to 'failure configuring windows updates. I have a server 2012 instance that's been running for almost a year now (Hyper-V VM installed from scratch not image) that's more or less been a constant fight to apply patches.
